ladies and gentlemen with Cancer.

Knitted Knockers

These are special handmade breast prostheses for women who have undergone mastectomies or other procedures to the breast. Traditional breast prosthetics can be heavy and uncomfortable, causing increased perspiration and chafing and irritation of tender skin. Knitted Knockers are soft and lightweight, and when placed in a bra, take on the shape and feel of a real breast.

Our volunteers provide them free of charge to ladies requesting them all over the UK.

Knitted Knockers can also be provided very lightly filled to compensate for reduced breast tissue or breasts that are uneven. They can be easily adapted for those going through reconstruction by simply removing some of the stuffing.

Chemo hats

These are knitted in a soft cotton and donated to support groups and chemo units to be distributed to men and women who have suffered hair loss due to the side effects of chemotherapy. Made in a variety of styles and colours they can be worn during the day and also at night.

Wash cloths

Knitted in a soft cotton in a variety of colours and styles and distributed via support groups and chemo units.

Support Pillows.

A heart shaped pillow to provide support and comfort following breast surgery. They are sewn using a poly cotton fabric and filled with polyester fibre filling. Fully washable by hand or in a washing machine, our volunteers make them and donate them to chemo units and support groups to be gifted to ladies and gentlemen.
